In this guide we’ll walk you through the whole fence stain color selection process. We will start off with the most important part of the process: What opacity? If your deck is new, Congratulations! Solid Stain – Completely hides the grain. Longest lasting finish.
Semi Solid Stain – HIdes most of the grain- Excellent durability
Semi Transparent Stain – Hides some of the grain Durable.
Toner – Accentuates wood grain, A touch of color.
Clear sealer – Completely transparent. Provides water repellency, zero color.
